Ingredients

1 jar Azraa’s Kitchen Pickles — Classic or Spicy
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 eggs
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
Canola oil, for frying
Ranch dressing, for dipping

Optional

Extra pickles, pickled onions, chives, or dill for topping Instructions

Instructions

1. Prepare the Pickles

Remove the pickles from the jar and pat them thoroughly dry with paper towels. Removing excess moisture helps the coating stick and gives you an extra-crispy finish.

2. Set Up Your Breading Stations

Prepare three separate bowls:

Bowl 1: Crack in the eggs and whisk until well beaten.
Bowl 2: Combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Bowl 3: Add the Panko breadcrumbs.

3. Bread the Pickles

Working with one pickle at a time:

Coat the pickle completely in the seasoned flour.
Dip it into the egg wash, making sure it is fully coated.
Transfer it to the Panko breadcrumbs and gently press the crumbs onto the pickle so they adhere well.

Place each coated pickle on a plate or tray as you go.

4. Chill the Coated Pickles

Once all the pickles are breaded, place them in the freezer for 30 minutes. This helps the coating set and creates a crispier texture when fried.

5. Heat the Oil

Pour enough canola oil into a deep pan or skillet for frying. Heat the oil to 350°F (175°C) over medium heat.

6. Fry Until Golden & Crispy

Carefully place the chilled, breaded pickles into the hot oil. Fry for approximately 3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Avoid overcrowding the pan, as this can lower the oil temperature and prevent the pickles from getting properly crisp.

7. Drain & Serve

Remove the fried pickles from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate or wire rack to drain excess oil.

Serve warm with your favorite ranch dressing for dipping.

Enjoy!

Crispy on the outside, tangy on the inside, and packed with pickle flavor. 🥒
